OUR VISION
Our mission is to bring like-minded people together to support a charity that is making a profound difference in the community. Our vision is to raise awareness of food waste and what Food Finders is doing to provide food to people and families in need. We believe together we can Lite Up the Sky and become the supporting light for others.
Through the run, we are committed to leaving the runners with a great experience of Inspiration, Giving, and Love.
All proceeds goes to Food Finders in their journey to end hunger!
OUR NON-PROFIT
Food Finders is a non-profit organization that rescues food from businesses and distributes the food directly to missions, shelters, and social service agencies for the needy and impoverished. Over 7 million lbs of food was rescued in 2015 and that number has been growing each year as more and more businesses start to understand how they can make a real difference. Food Finders relies on countless volunteers daily to pick up and deliver food on the same day, providing food to those in need while at the same time reducing food waste.

We are less than one week away and are excited to Lite It Up! Additional updates to be mindful of; there will be no bag drop at the Event, so please ensure you can carry all your belongings with you or have your supporter hang on to your things while they are cheering you on as they for you to cross the Finish Line!
If you are unable to register online, have no fear! Online registration is accepted until noon (12:00pm PDT) on Event Day (May 8th, 2016); however, we will accept additional entries for those who would like to sign up on Event Day. Just show up during the registration/check-in time and we will take care of you!
Just a reminder to all participants that valid photo ID is required for registration/check-in. For more information, please visit our updated FAQ section.

Hello Stars! Note that we have updated our Event Details page to include map of parking available on event day. There are two Pay Parking lots near the Start/Finish line at the pedestrian/bike path. Please be mindful that parking could be limited so you may want come early to claim your spot and ensure you have time to check in and warm up! We have also tweaked the Event Schedule so be sure to take a scroll down and double check the times. Let's get that glow on and lite it up!
