Who can participate?

All ages are welcome! But because this is a night run, we suggest that participants under the age of 16 be supervised by an adult. We don't want anyone getting lost in the night!

 

Why isn't the race timed?

Our goal is to bring the community together. This run isn't considered a race, but a gathering of like-minded people to get together to walk, jog, or run for a good cause. 

 

How do I register?

Easy! Click on our Register Now! button or visit our Register section of our website. It will direct you to Race Entry where you can sign up!

 

When is the deadline to register?

We will accept all online entries until noon (12:00pm PDT). But why delay? Sign up today! If you are unable to sign up online, you can also sign up on Event Day; just show up during the registration/check-in time to sign up! Please note that wrist bands are limited, and you may not receive one as a late entry. 

 

What do I get with my registration?

All participants will get a race package which will include a wrist band to wear the night of the run. Participants are also welcome and encouraged to wear anything bright that will help light up the sky!

 

Is the registration refundable?

Unfortunately not. But keep in mind that all proceeds do go directly to Food Finders, so your money is not going to waste! It will help support the local community to end hunger!

 

How much will this cost me?

We have two separate pricing. Early bird pricing will be $30 and ends April 14th, 2016. After that date, cost to participate will be $35 up to and including Event Day.

 

Do I need to sign a waiver?

You certainly do! We want to make sure everyone is aware of the safety concerns while you are out there having fun lighting up the sky!

 

Can I pick up my race package before Race Day?

Unfortunately not. For ease of registration, check-in will be on Race Day only at the designated times (please see Events section) where you will receive your glow wrist band. Be sure to show up early so you can purchase additional wrist bands! Note: Picture ID Is required for registration/check-in.

 

Where can I drop off my stuff?

Unfortunately, this year there will be no bag drop. Please ensure you have all items with you and a means to store your belongings that you won't be walking/running with. 

 

How can I show my support?

Sign up and take part in either the 5 km or 10 km walk, jog, or run! You can also sign up as a volunteer, donate to Food Finders, or just show up on Race Day in your brightest colors and glowing lights and headlamps to support the participants!

 

I am not a runner, can I still join?

Definitely! This is not a race. You can certainly walk or jog, or just show up to support the community!

 

I am afraid of the dark, should I still join?

You should! With everyone's bright colors and glow sticks, we should be lighting up the sky to support Food Finder's journey to end hunger! We also encourage partipcants and volunteers to dress up to light it up!
